A school bus operator for Pulaski High School involved in a fatal accident takes leave of absence, Fox 11 stated on September 5.
Reports said the 74-year-old bus driver will not return to work until further notice following an accident that happened on Tuesday, September 2. Officials from Pulaski High School stated that the school bus was occupied by some 22 students, a volleyball team and their coaches when the crash occurred on Highway 29. Authorities said that the bus operator apparently failed to yield when the car struck the bus. Car passenger Shannon Hall died in the accident, while the vehicle’s driver, who was not identified, and 14 bus occupants suffered injuries in the crash.
